Jemgirl.com has just had a

massive update and is finally back on cyberspace!

 

   I started Jemgirl.com in April 2004. When the web site began, it was aimed at custom Jem doll fashions for my customers to order Jem doll reproduction fashions and fashions from the cartoon which had not been produced for the dolls. I had started creating my collection section on the original site, which never got finished, as I soon discovered I needed a new layout to cover the amount of content required. I no longer take fashion orders, but I do create doll fashions for my own Jem collection so there is always new custom dolls to see here. Plus I now offer Jem song remixes that you can enjoy. I am excited to present my Jem collection to other Jem fans at jemgirl.com.

 

 

 

 

  So who is Jemgirl? I am a huge fan of Jem and have been since the first time I saw the show aired on Saturday morning television back in 1986. Jem is the Truly Outrageous doll line from the mid 1980's. To coincide with this toyline, was the animated cartoon. I collect the Jem doll line, the cartoon episodes, songs and anything else to do with Jem. I have a lot of my own Jem projects consisting of custom dolls, song remixes, a new (fanfic) series and various other interests to do with Jem. I have been involved in organizing Jemcon 2005 which was a convention for Jem fans and I made the limited Jemcon fashion for the event. Plus I have also worked on official Jem merchandise for the DVDs released by MRA in Australia and Metrodome in the UK.

 

   Jem is the lead singer of the band, 'Jem and the Holograms'. Jem's identity is kept secret, and only her friends the Holograms know who Jem really is. So who is she? Jem is really Jerrica Benton, the manager of the rock group: Jem and the Holograms. And with the help of Jerrica's holographic creating computer 'Synergy', Jerrica turns into the glamourous Jem. And so that Jerrica can become Jem at anytime and anywhere, she projects the hologram of Jem from her Jemstar earrings.

 

   ‘Jem World’ consists of various elements of Jem. The toy line to the cartoon to what fans of Jem are doing to keep Jem going and everything in between. This is the place to see the Hasbro Jem collection in stunning magazine style photographs, obtain info into the cartoon of Jem, see amazing custom dolls and to hear some Jem songs along with never before heard Jem remixes.

 

    It’s not only Jem that is featured on this site, I also have music I have created under the section ‘Music Land’. Here I have musical compositions of my own, DJ mixes of Drum n Bass and Breaks mixed into cartoon theme songs and strange old theme songs that just work in with the beats. And because I create Jem remixes and new Jem style songs too, so Jem does certainly get into my tunes also.
