Jemgirl Editions

Jemgirl Editions are the dolls that Jemgirl has customized. Customizing is about changing the dolls by re-painting the faces into alternate or new characters,  re-rooting new hair, making them a new fashion outfit and many other creative things to create a new custom doll.

The doll line for Jem is often different to what the dolls look like on the cartoon, so customizing can create a cartoon like doll or a character from the show that was never released as a doll.

Jem was issued in 1986 and 1987. There were plans for dolls to be released in 1988 and prototypes were made, but never produced for sale. The Reproductions show custom versions of some of these prototype dolls.

There is so much creativity that can be achieved with customizing Jem dolls and the One of a kinds are dolls purely based on my own ideas.

Not all dolls need a full makeover and sometimes subtle changes make a huge difference or allow a variation to a doll by just partially repainting the dolls faces.

Jem needs new accessories too, so take a look in the accessories section to see what new goodies Jem gets to wear with her outfits.

And if you too would like your very own custom Jem items, you can order any of the items pictured in the following sections.
